Telematics Group

Telematics Group is a voluntary group established in 2013 with a growing membership of over 30 members pooled from the employees of Telematics Africa Limited,Telematics Holdings Limited and Gelpha Limited.

Every member of the Group shall, on becoming a member, pay the Group a non-refundable registration fee of K.sh. 500 (five hundred Kenya shillings) or such other fee as may be prescribed.

Every member is required to pay a monthly contribution of not less than K.sh. 2,000.00 (Two thousand Kenya shillings) as shares or such other fee as may be determined by the General Meeting of the Group from time to time.

Our Vision

To create an enabling environment for enhancing unity, personal development and general activities aimed at improving the living standards of the Telematics Africa Ltd staff, Gelpha Ltd staff and societies/institutions and all beneficiaries associated to staff and the companies.

Our Mission

Mobilize the member staff, organizations and individuals to share and participate in all aspects of Unity, health and poverty reduction.
The Group will fulfil the mission by:

Promoting the health and well-being of the Telematics Group and working together regardless of age, ethnic origin, ability, sex, belief or political affiliation recognising the value of our many differences.

To carry out and promote Unity and practical effort, to educate, encourage and support the Telematics staff practice by working with statutory and non-statutory agencies.

To raise funds and receive contributions where appropriate to finance the works of the Group.

Take out insurance.

Work with similar organizations and exchange information and advice with them.

Take any action that is lawful, which would help it to fulfil its missions.

Our Objectives

To uplift the economic status of the members, their dependencies and their local communities.
To develop and uphold the best of the social and economic heritage of the members and the local communities.
To be a forum where members would give each other financial, social, emotional, mental and spiritual support whenever necessary.
To acquire property and chattels and do such other things as may be approved by members.
To raise or borrow money for all or any of the foregoing objectives in such manner and upon Such security as maybe from time to time determined by the Group.
To transform itself into a co-operative society at an appropriate time.
To do all such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of all or any of the foregoing objectives.
